I’m addicted to the beginnings because I am so scared of how the end feels.  I feel like maybe I can jump from guy to guy so easily because I don’t want to be swept up in the rip tide of the relationship that pulls you deeper and deeper in. I don’t want to get to the point again where we are so fed up with each other, and more importantly, ourselves, that we can’t stand the thought of one another anymore. Maybe I would rather a lifetime of short, happy moments with a million people than the unbearable end that is inevitable with one person.
